SCOOP Delivery ("SCOOP," "we," "us," or "our") operates the SCOOP mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our app and services.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and delivery address(es). Date of birth is required to verify you meet the minimum age requirement of 21 years.
Identity Verification: To comply with age verification requirements for tobacco product delivery, we collect a photo of your government-issued ID. This image is stored securely and used solely for age verification purposes.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number, debit card number, or bank account details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data. We support credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Order Information: We collect details about your orders including products purchased, order amounts, delivery addresses, and order history.
Location Data: With your permission, we collect precise location data to facilitate delivery services. For customers, location data is used to verify delivery addresses and calculate delivery proximity. For drivers, location data is collected during active deliveries to enable real-time order tracking.
Device Information: We collect device identifiers and push notification tokens to send you order updates and promotional messages.
Communications: Messages sent through our in-app support chat and delivery chat features are stored to provide customer service and facilitate communication between customers, drivers, and store staff.

Delivery Drivers: When you place an order, your delivery address and order details are shared with the assigned driver to complete your delivery. Drivers can see your first name and communicate via in-app chat.

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. ID verification images are stored in a private, access-controlled storage bucket. We implement row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Order history is retained for business and legal compliance purposes. ID verification images are retained as required for regulatory compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
